That means that it doesn’t matter if you’re drinking Brazilian cocktails, American cocktails, Irish cocktails, or cocktails from Timbuktu.
You’re basically drinking the same drinks. 

Maybe that’s true or maybe it isn’t. All I know is that these 10 Brazilian cocktails are fantastic, and I am a huge fan of all of them.

Trust me when I tell you that you’ll certainly want to try all of them before you’re done. 

No list of Brazilian cocktails is complete without the country’s national drink, the caipirinha.
It’s a tart, zesty drink that combines limes, sugar, and Brazilian cachaca.
There’s a light sweetness to the drink, as well, and it has a bit of an earthy aftertaste that’s not at all unpleasant. 
I don’t know if any of you were fortunate enough to be around when GAP introduced its line of earth-scented perfumes, but if so, this drink will remind you a little of the way GAP Grass smelled.

This drink, too, is light, refreshing, and full of flavor. It combines kiwi, mint leaves, limes, vodka, coconut sparkling water, and ice, and the result is incredible. 
It, too, has that perfectly balanced mixture of sweetness and tartness, and the kiwi and mint play exceptionally well together.
It’s almost like a more tropical mojito but with kiwi.

Either way, it’s a delightful summer cocktail that’ll help keep you cool on those long, hot days. 

The Brazilian buck isn’t a drink that will suit everyone’s tastes, but I love it. You’ll make it with cachaca, ginger beer, lime juice, and aromatic bitters.
You’ll also add lime wedges and ginger peels for garnishes. It has an interesting, hard-to-describe flavor that’s slightly bitter but also light and zesty. 
The appearance is also unique, starting with an almost orange juice-like color at the bottom and fading into translucency toward the top. It smells nice, too!  
I know that’s not giving you a lot to go on in terms of taste, but just give it a try. I think you’ll enjoy it. 

The Brazilian Sunrise puts a gorgeous, tangy, Brazilian twist on the traditional Tequila Sunrise. 
Most of the ingredients are the same, but for this one, you’ll substitute cachaca in place of tequila.
You’ll still keep the orange juice, grenadine, ice, and orange slice garnishes. 
Cachaca tastes a bit like tequila, but it’s grassier and is closer in sweetness and flavor to rum (though it doesn’t taste precisely like rum, either). 
The result is that the Brazilian sunrise is sweeter than the tequila sunrise, and it also has more herb flavor and earthiness. 
The grassiness doesn’t come through as strongly in this drink as it does the caipirinha, but you get hints of it now and then, as well.

It’s rich, sweet, and delightfully cinnamon-flavored. As with many Brazilian drinks, it requires cachaca.
You’ll also add sweetened condensed milk, cocoa liqueur, cream, ice, and cinnamon. 
It’s like a tropical milkshake with a kick! It takes 5 minutes to make, and you won’t need any special equipment to whip it up – not even a blender.
Simply pour all the ingredients into a shaker and shake well. 

This 5-minute, 5-ingredient cocktail combines cachaca, passion fruit pulp, unsweetened coconut milk, lime juice, and sweetened condensed milk. 
It has a consistency that’s somewhere between a milkshake and a slushie.
It has a fantastic taste that’s almost candy-like in its ability to delight both the sweet and tart receptors on your tongue. 
Be careful with this one, though. It’s so delectable and so smooth that you’ll end up drinking far too much of it before you even realize the alcohol has hit you. 

This Brazilian red wine cocktail is red wine like you’ve never had it before, and you’ll adore it!
You’ll only need three ingredients and about 5 minutes to make it.
It uses red wine, sweetened condensed milk, and fresh pineapple. (Any canned unsweetened fruit works, but trust me, you’ll want to use fresh pineapple.)
It’s like the exact opposite of mulled wine. Mulled wine, of course, is hot and spiced, and the fruit isn’t as important as the wine itself. 
This drink, though, is icy cold, thick, and slushy, and though you’ll taste the wine, the pineapple takes center stage. 
Plus, it’s creamy, and outside of wine coolers, that’s not a way in which we’re used to drinking wine! It’s an excellent way to do it, though.

Brazilian mojitos are a phenomenal combination of two spectacular drinks: the mojito and the Brazilian caipirinha. What does that mean exactly?
Well, it means you’ll use cachaca instead of rum, though rum will suffice in a pinch, and that you’ll add triple sec, mint leaves, sugar, limes, ice, and water (sparkling if you want bubbles).
It’s still minty, fresh, and citrusy. Still, there’s also a hint of that unique-to-cachaca grassiness that honestly makes the Brazilian mojito superior to the American version (in my opinion). 

Here’s another option for those of us looking for something sweet and creamy.
It tastes like something you’d buy at Starbucks, but with cachaca added in for good measure. 
It’s a lot like an iced coffee with a bit of cream, so if you’re into that caffeine-liquor combination, this drink is the one for you. 

I don’t know what it is about Brazilian beverages and kiwi, but whatever it is, I am totally here for it!
This four-ingredient drink is one of the freshest, tastiest cocktails I’ve ever tried. 
It features kiwi, sake, fine sugar, and ice. That’s it.
There are just four simple ingredients, but the result is insanely good, sweet without being too sweet, and ultimately perfect. 
If you’re looking for a drink to help you cool down on a hot day, reach for a kiwi caipisake. You won’t be disappointed.
