Chances are you’re already familiar with Prosecco and Prosecco cocktails, as both are incredibly popular.
However, if you aren’t, Prosecco is a lovely sparkling white wine from Italy that’s similar in taste, appearance, and fizziness to Champagne.

Of course, since it comes from Italy instead of Champagne, France, it can’t be called ‘Champagne,’ but the two are pretty interchangeable. 
The main difference is when the bubbles (yeast) are added to the drink.
The makers of Champagne add yeast to the bottles, while Prosecco’s makers add it to the barrels and tanks.
With that in mind, I’ve compiled a list of 23 of my favorite Prosecco cocktails, but if you run across one that calls for Champagne instead, feel free to use Prosecco. 

This gorgeous drink is perfect for any time of year, but it looks particularly festive during the Christmas holidays. 
Of course, its lovely pink and red color and sugared rim also make it ideal for Valentine’s Day.
Either way, if you like bittersweet fruity drinks, you’ll love this delightful option. 

The Prosecco margarita takes the traditional tart and tangy recipe for a margarita and adds four ounces of Prosecco.
Everything else pretty much stays the same.
You’ll still use tequila, triple sec, lime juice, and plenty of salt around the rim. In addition to the Prosecco, a bit of agave syrup ensures the drink isn’t entirely sour. 
It’s a clean, sparkling beverage with a zesty kick that’ll really get you going. 

Quick tip if you serve strawberry Rossinis for brunch or lunch: Be sure to add the strawberry garnishes on the side.

Otherwise, your guests may think you’re serving them creamy tomato soup in a glass. (I speak from personal experience!) 
Although the shade of red isn’t precisely the same as the red-orange hue of tomato juice, people will still mistake the two (and look at you with side-eye).
Once they realize they’re getting a sweet, bubbly, strawberry-flavored treat, though, they’ll grab them off the table pretty quickly.

Thanks to the grenadine and the bubbly Prosecco, these Prosecco mimosas look like an icy sunrise in a glass.
They’re beautiful and will easily be the centerpiece of any table. 
Plus, they’re simple to make. All you’ll really need is Prosecco and some orange juice, but you’ll want to add the grenadine for the lovely sunrise effect.
Plus, every good drink needs garnishes. 
Luckily, this sweet and tangy drink tastes every bit as good as it looks. 

I’ve always thought of martinis as classy, and this one, with its red hue and bubbles, is more refined than most. 
You’ll make it with both Prosecco and raspberry vodka; plus, you’ll add raspberry syrup (to taste), white sugar, and fresh raspberries. 
It’s a pretty sweet drink, but you can cut back on the syrup if you prefer your mixed drinks with a little more bite.

These bright orange drinks aren’t for everyone, but I do recommend that everyone give them a try before making that call.
The people who do like them, really like them – myself included. 
They are bright orange, zesty, and have just a hint of sweet herbs underneath all the bolder flavors.
For such bright, light-colored drinks, they have a rich, complex flavor. 
Whether you’re a fan of the taste or not, you’re sure to agree that these cocktails are unbelievably refreshing. 

I’m usually not a fan of drinks that come with instructions.
If I have to go to that much trouble to enjoy something, it’s just not for me. But the pornstar martini is the exception. 
This sweetly tart, golden cocktail comes with a slice of passion fruit in the glass and a shot of Prosecco on the side. Follow these steps for drinking it: 
Scoop out the passion fruit flesh and eat it.Knock back the shot of Prosecco.Sip the martini at your leisure.
Again, I don’t usually like it when my drink tells me what to do, but this one tastes so spectacularly good that I don’t mind. 
I’ll bet that you won’t either once you give it a try. 

If you’re looking for a cocktail that’s lightly floral-scented (and flavored) and packed with a ton of minty freshness, the Hugo cocktail is the mixed drink for you. 
It takes 5 minutes to make, and all you’ll need is a mint sprig, half a lime, elderflower syrup, Prosecco, sparkling water, and ice. 
The drink is drier than others on the list, so if you prefer a sweeter flavor, add more elderflower syrup. 

The flavor of this drink is hard to describe. It’s lightly sweet and fruity, but there’s an underlying bite of bitterness to it, as well. 
One thing’s for sure, though: It’s fizzy and bubbly and sure to make your nose tingle. 

This drink tastes a bit like the pink gin fizz above, but it has less lemon juice and fresh raspberries, so it’s a bit sweeter. 
Both are great options if you enjoy light pink, fruity drinks that’ll tickle your tongue. 

If you loved Capri Sun’s tropical punch flavor when you were a kid, then you’ll go crazy for the pineapple Prosecco punch because that’s precisely what it tastes like: spiked tropical punch.
Best of all, you can whip up an entire pitcher of the stuff in only 5 minutes with five ingredients: pineapple juice, orange juice, Prosecco, a pineapple, and rosemary sprigs. 
The rosemary is more of a garnish than for taste, but if you muddle it in some, it gives the punch a lightly herby undertone.

If you’re looking for a fruity, refreshing drink with just a smidge of alcohol, the watermelon lemonade Prosecco spritzer is the drink for you. 
It tastes like cool, perfect-for-summer watermelon lemonade. You won’t even taste the alcohol. It’s pretty much just there to add bubbles. 

The limoncello spritz is minty and lemon-flavored and is perfect for backyard barbecues.
It’s not overly sweet, but it’s also not sour. If I had to use only one word to describe it, I’d probably say “invigorating.” 

Here’s another excellent party punch if you’re looking for something that’s insanely fruity but not overly strong alcohol-wise. 
It takes 5 minutes to whip up a pitcher, and all you’ll need is Prosecco, peach nectar, and fresh (or frozen) raspberries and blueberries. 
The punch pairs well with party foods like finger sandwiches, cookies, and other hors d’oeuvres, and everyone will be trying to make sure they get the berries in their glass.    

This gorgeous, colorful drink is bubbly, light, and full of fruity yumminess.
The prevalent flavor is peach, but you’ll also occasionally get hints of sweet wine and raspberries. 
It takes only 5 minutes to make, but you’ll want to let it chill for at least an hour before serving it. The colder it is, the better it will taste.  

If you’re big on brunch, you probably already know how to make delicious peach bellinis, but the next time you make them, try them with Prosecco instead of Champagne. 
There’s not much difference in the taste or appearance, but it does give you another option in case you run out of Champagne! 

This summer cocktail is sweet, bubbly, and just tart enough to be refreshing. Unlike most of the cocktails on this list, this one requires a bit of prep work.
To get the cool, icy texture, you’ll want to use frozen watermelons, so pop those chunks in the freezer at least 4 hours before you plan to make these frosty treats. 
You’ll also need Prosecco, water, and some mint or basil sprigs to make them all colorful and pretty when you serve them.

If you’re looking for a sweetly tart, vibrant cocktail with a pleasing aroma and an even better taste, you can’t beat the St. Germain. 
You can make it with either dry gin or vodka (I prefer the gin), and you’ll also need St. Germain liqueur, lemon juice, Prosecco, ice, and a lemon twist for the garnish.

If you’ve ever come across one of my cocktail recipes articles before, you may already know how crazy I am about orange push pops.
They were the stuff, and I still remember them fondly today.
These drinks are the cocktail version of those orange push pops. You’ll make them with Prosecco, orange sherbert, vanilla ice cream, and some mint sprigs. 
They. Are. Delicious. 
And they’re more like dessert than cocktails, but trust me, no one will complain about that after they taste them.

These bright and bubbly orange drinks may look like your typical mimosas, but instead of orange juice, they feature mangoes’ sweet, tropical flavor.
Plus, you’ll use mango nectar and chunks of real mango, so it’s a double whammy of mango yumminess. 

Although this drink is more potent than others on the list (thanks to the addition of both vodka and Prosecco), it’s light in every other way.
It has a pale, light peach color, the light flavors of watermelon, mint, and lemon, and is light and refreshing going down.
Don’t let its delicate sweetness fool you, though, it packs a wallop of a punch.

These two-toned watermelon margaritas are tart and tangy with just a hint of sweetness from the Prosecco syrup, watermelon, and sugared rim.
If you’re looking for the perfect summertime drink to help you celebrate, these are always a good option. 

This bittersweet drink takes the classic Negroni recipe and substitutes Prosecco for the gin. It has a dark, reddish-amber hue and an herby, somewhat dry flavor. 
Even so, people love it, myself included, and it makes an excellent evening cocktail for any occasion.
